In this refinery the main crude oil and complementary load processing plants are: Topping y Vacío I, Topping y Vacío II, Visbreaking, Catalytic Cracking, Continuous Reforming, Mild Hydrocracking (two plants), Hydrodesulfurization of diesel and gasoline, Alkylation, Solvent Plant, Sulfuric Acid Plant, Isomerization Plant, DIPE Plant, Sulfur Plant and Hydrogen Plant (owned by AGA), and a Delayed Coking Complex.
Additionally, there are Merox treatment plants for kerosene and solvents, facilities for treating oily water and gases, a supply plant, a closed cooling water system, flare systems, pipelines connecting the refinery to the Quintero Marine Terminal, internal piping systems from tank areas to processing plants and from these plants to intermediate and final product tanks, a pump area for sending products from the refinery, a Marine Terminal in Quintero with crude and product tanks, pump areas, and four anchorages, including a single-point mooring system for Suezmax and VLCC tankers. The facility also encompasses a Chemical Laboratory, a truck loading yard, facilities for the Emergency Response Brigade, a 24-hour Fire Department Barracks, fire trucks, firefighting equipment, specialized maintenance and repair workshops for all plants, emergency electric generators powered by diesel and gas, and a natural gas interconnection system for use as fuel in boilers and furnaces (steam generation).
On Easter Island, Enap Refinerías S.A. has a concession for a terminal located in the Rada Vinapu area. With a storage capacity of 4,800 cubic meters, the Vinapu Terminal ensures the fuel supply for the island territory. These facilities include:
- Marine Terminal: it has an 8-inch submarine line of approximately 500 meters in length and an anchorage with the capacity to moor tankers up to 110 meters in length, with a draft of up to 10 meters and up to 10,000 DWT, for loading and unloading operations.
- Inland Terminal: with 6 storage tanks for refined products, with a capacity of 800 cubic meters, storing Aviation Kerosene, Gasoline 93 NOR, and Diesel B. It also has a truck loading system (Pump Room and Loading Bay) and a Firefighting System. For product distribution, it has a fleet of Tanker Trucks, consisting of three trucks for Aviation Kerosene and two semi-trailers for Gasoline and Diesel B.
