The CEO is responsible for the senior administration of the company within the framework of the roles and powers established by Law No. 9,618, its Bylaws and by the Board of Directors of ENAP. In particular, the CEO is responsible for executing the agreements adopted by the Board of Directors, representing the company judicially and extrajudicially and protecting the company's assets and funds. In the performance of these functions, the CEO leads the formulation and implementation of the business plan, with a strategic vision, so that it is shared by the entire organization.
Corporate Exploration and Production Manager (E&P)

This Department reports directly to ENAP’s General Management. Its work is oriented to the development of hydrocarbon exploration and extraction activities both in Chile and abroad. In the latter case, it operates through the subsidiary ENAP Sipetrol S.A. All this in strict compliance with Quality, Environmental, Risk Prevention and Corporate Social Responsibility Policies. The main objective of this Manager is the incorporation of hydrocarbon reserves, through the exploration and optimization of the exploitation of deposits. Additionally, the E&P Management is responsible for the management of the company's geothermal assets.

The functions of this Department, which reports directly to ENAP’s General Management and mainly operates through the subsidiary ENAP Refinerías S.A., are as follows:
- Transform crude oil into fuel products (liquified gas, gasolines, kerosenes, diesel oils, fuel oils and petroleum coke), petrochemical products (ethylene and propylene) and special products (solvents and bases for asphalts);
- Transport and store crude oil and petroleum products, the latter for subsequent sale to distribution companies both in Chile and abroad;
- Develop complementary refining processes, usually in partnership with third parties, to produce supplies necessary for its operation (hydrogen, water vapor, electrical energy) and chemicals products (dipe, sulfur, sodium sulfide, sulfuric acid).
Commercialize crude oils and products derived from petroleum and natural gas, supplying the refineries of Aconcagua, BioBío and Gregorio (Magallanes). It does so preferably in the domestic fuel market, with its own production and with purchases from third parties. To this end, it manages logistical resources in order to optimize transport costs, both import and export, and cabotage within the country.
