With deep regret, Enap informs the death of the worker Jorge Ítalo Suazo Fioratti, 59 years old, who on Wednesday, February 26 was working at the San Vicente Maritime Terminal (TSMV) and who belonged to the company Certical LTDA, a sub contractor of the company Rudel.
According to preliminary information, which is still under investigation, the engineer suffered an accident while performing hydrostatic tests on a new line at the terminal.
As Enap, we set up a commission exclusively dedicated to investigating all the background information on the circumstances in which this unfortunate event occurred and we are working with the corresponding authorities in whatever is necessary for an expeditious and transparent investigation.
We deeply regret the death of Jorge Ítalo and send our most sincere condolences to his family, friends and coworkers.
