Enap Launches Revamped Social Investment Program for Organizations in Concón, Hualpén, and Magallanes

As part of the 80th anniversary of the discovery of oil, the state-owned company has launched “Enap Impulsa 2025,” a competitive funding program that, in this new edition, includes technical support from the application phase through to project execution.

With a commitment to contributing to the well-being of the areas where it operates, Enap announced from Punta Arenas the opening of applications for “Enap Impulsa 2025,” the latest edition of its social investment program that funds initiatives submitted by social organizations.

Applications will open on Wednesday, June 4 for Enap Magallanes, Thursday, June 5 for Enap Bío Bío Refinery, and Monday, June 23 for Enap Aconcagua Refinery. The results will be published in August.

The eligible municipalities are:

  • Concón (Valparaíso Region)
  • Hualpén (Biobío Region)
  • Punta Arenas, Primavera, Gregorio, Laguna Blanca, Porvenir, and Puerto Natales (Magallanes Region)

Andrea Aranda, Enap’s Corporate Affairs Manager, emphasized the program's new features and benefits to local communities:

“We’ve implemented improvements that enhance process transparency and introduced specialized teams to guide organizations from the application stage to project completion. Our goal is for these funds to be a real contribution to the social groups applying — helping them address needs and improve their quality of life. Our continuous support strengthens and deepens our connection with neighboring communities.”

Aligned with Enap’s Corporate Territorial Management Policy, these initiatives aim to strengthen local community infrastructure, promote sports and culture, foster environmental stewardship, and develop skills and talents. In 2024, the program selected 42 projects that benefited over 6,700 people.

“We invite our neighbors — represented by neighborhood councils, sports clubs, and cultural groups, among others — to review the guidelines and apply for the 2025 edition. Your projects can make a real difference in the daily lives of thousands of people, and we want to be part of that journey,” said Alfonso Pacheco, Head of Communities at Enap Magallanes.
