The Chilean state-owned company began operations in January 2003 and currently maintains work in the Mauro Dávalos Cordero (MDC) and Paraíso Biguno Huachito e Intracampos (PBHI) blocks.
Recently, ENAP's subsidiary in Ecuador received three distinctions related to corporate sustainability and the generation of a good place to work, according to its employees.
The first of these is precisely the certification as one of the Best Places to Work, granted by the global consultancy Great Place to Work®, an entity that researches, trains, and certifies companies, understanding the contribution of workplaces to the sustainability of companies.
In the case of ENAP in Ecuador, the result of the Workplace Climate Survey carried out in 2023 reflected the good perception of workers regarding their workspace.
The subsidiary was also recognized at the 2024 Sustainability Summit of the Ekos Group as a "Triple Impact: economic, social and environmental" company. At this year's Gaia Awards, organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Ecuador Section, Enap earned another recognition in the “Sustainability” category, for outstanding achievements in the oil industry.
The manager of Enap Ecuador, Juan Carlos Cuervo, said that "these achievements reflect our continuous commitment to the sustainability and integral well-being of our invaluable workforce," whom he thanked "for their contribution and dedication that make these merits possible."
