Cristian Muga takes office as President of the Board of Directors of Enap

Consuelo Raby was also designated as director of the state-owned company.

President José Antonio Kast designated Cristian Muga Aitken as President of the Board of Directors of the National Petroleum Company (Enap, by its initials in Spanish).

Muga holds a bachelor’s degree in Legal and Social Sciences from Universidad Diego Portales, a certificate in Criminal Procedure Reform, and he has completed postgraduate studies at UC Hastings. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his expertise in areas such as litigation involving complex economic crimes; he has also advised on criminal investigations with reputational implications and provided support in managing legal and communications crises.

The President also appointed Consuelo Raby Guarda as director; she is a lawyer who graduated from Universidad Católica and holds an LL.M. from Duke University. She has extensive experience in corporate law and capital markets. She has served on the boards of both public and private companies, including Grupo Security and as president of Empresa Portuaria Talcahuano. She was a member of the Enap board of directors from 2021 to 2022.

Accordingly, the Board of Directors is now constituted by Cristian Muga, Consuelo Raby, and the five members whose periods of office are still in effect: Ximena Corbo, Laura Albornoz, Rodrigo Azócar, Rodrigo Manubens (nominated by the Senior Public Management), and Nolberto Díaz (representative of the workers).
