STRATEGY

To achieve continuous improvement in overall Occupational Safety and Health results, three strategic processes have been defined and are managed by ENAP's Occupational Safety and Health Management (SSO). Their main objective is to eliminate fatal accidents, prevent occupational diseases, and enhance efficiency and effectiveness in production. The joint management of these three processes aims to instill a safety culture within the company, influencing every business decision.

The Safety Culture Model (ICSI)

In order to cultivate a safety culture within the company, ENAP, in collaboration with the Institute for an Industrial Safety Culture (ICSI) and the Mutual de Seguridad, has developed a Safety Culture Diagnosis process. This process allows ENAP to understand its own safety culture in comparison to other relevant industry players. This will enable ENAP to enhance each of its attributes, with the goal of becoming a model company in safety and health, with a focus on the care of its most valuable asset: its workers.
