Organization and Structure
ENAP is organized into two Business Lines: Exploration and Production (E&P) and Refining and Commercialization (R&C). It has two subsidiaries: Enap Sipetrol S.A. and Enap Refinerías S.A.
Empresa Nacional del Petróleo is owned by the State of Chile and its line of business is the exploration, production and commercialization of hydrocarbons and their derivatives. It carries out activities throughout the entire value chain in the oil industry, from hydrocarbons exploration to fuels commercialization, the latter under the brand Primax, which operates in Peru and Ecuador.
ENAP is organized into two Business Lines: Exploration and Production (E&P) and Refining and Commercialization (R&C). It has two subsidiaries: Enap Sipetrol S.A. and Enap Refinerías S.A. Both Business Lines are present with their operations in the productive complex located in the Magallanes Region, where the company operates hydrocarbon deposits with commercial value. The company's central management sits at the Headquarters, located in Santiago, Chile.
This subsidiary of ENAP was created in 1990, with the purpose of developing hydrocarbons exploration and production activities outside of Chile, taking advantage of the know-how of its professional and technical teams, and looking for new business opportunities abroad. Currently this subsidiary carries out productive activities in Argentina, Ecuador and Egypt.
This subsidiary of ENAP was founded in 2004, as a result of the merger of Concón and Petrox refineries, located in the Fifth and Eighth Regions, respectively. It has a distillation capacity of 220,000 barrels per day and supplies over 80% of the fuels requirements in Chile.
