Projects

With the purpose of contributing to the energy assurance in the country, and to the diversification of the supply sources, ENAP is developing several projects within its main purpose area (hydrocarbons exploration and production) and fuels refining.

Also, it has been the initiator of new energy sources for the country, such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), geothermal energy and bio-fuels.

Exploration and production main projects in Chile:

• CEOP at Caupolicán, Lenga and Coirón (Magallanes) blocks.
• Dorado–Riquelme (Magallanes) block.
• Process of inviting international oil companies to sign a CEOP to the following blocks: Isla Norte, Campanario, Flamenco, San Sebastián and Marazzi-Lago Mercedes.
• Geothermal development in Regions II, VII and VIII.

Main projects with new energy sources:

• Second generation bio-fuels, through For Energy and Biocomsa.
• Carbon gas (Magallanes).
