Description of this managementThe Refining and Commercialization Division is the area responsible for developing the activities related to the production and commercialization of fuel and other oil by-products (solvents, bases to manufacture asphalt, ethylene and other petrochemical products) at ENAP. This area is also responsible for the commercialization of liquefied natural gas and the management of the logistics infrastructure for their transportation and storage.
The following report to this Division: (1) the subsidiary Enap Refinerías S.A., whose main assets are Aconcagua and Bío Bío Refineries (located in the Regions of Valparaíso and Biobío, respectively); (2) Sales and Procurement Management; Logistics Management; (3) Optimization Management; (4) Operations Management; (5) Refining, logistics and commercialization activities associated with the exploitation of refining assets (Gregorio Refinery and the separation plant in Cabo Negro), and maritime terminals (Gregorio and Cabo Negro); and (6) the subsidiary Manu Perú Holding, devoted to service fuel requirements of retail distribution in Peru.
This division is also responsible for the commercialization of crude oil and petroleum-based products and natural gas, and the procurement of crude oil and natural gas for Aconcagua, Bío Bío and Gregorio refineries.
The commercialization of petroleum-based products and natural gas is mainly focused in the local market; activity carried out with own production and purchase to third parties. To achieve this, it manages logistic resources to optimize transportation costs, both import and export as well as cabotage within the country.
