RefiningParticipation in Associations

Since 1989, Enap Refinerías S.A. is an active member of Asociación Gremial de Industriales Químicos (Asiquim) [Chemical Industrials Association].

Aconcagua and Bío Bío Refining Plants have been granted the “ASIQUIM Responsible Conduct” award, for the integrated operation of the quality, environmental, safety and occupational health management systems, plus all the Entrepreneurial Social Responsibility activities.

Also, the Refining Plants have made an association with different entities related to their activities, such as:

Aconcagua Refining Plant:

• Asociación de Empresas de la V Región (Asiva) [V Region Companies Association], as from April 28, 2003.

Bío Bío Refining Plant: 

• Corporación Industrial para el Desarrollo de la Región (Cidere) [Industrial Corporation for the Region Development], as from November 25, 1965.
• Instituto Regional de Administración de Empresas (Irade) [Regional Institute for Companies Management], as from December 1st, 1988.
• Cámara de la Producción y el Comercio de Concepción (CPCC) [Concepción Chamber of Commerce and Production], as from September 22, 1992.
