Exploration and Production (E&P)Description of this Line of Business

As the name indicates, ENAP's Exploration and Production Line of Business specializes in exploration activities of hydrocarbons (oil and natural gas) and geo-thermal energy. These activities are carried out in Chile and abroad, in the latter case through the international subsidiary Enap Sipetrol S.A.

ENAP's exploration and production activities in Chile are concentrated in the Magallanes Region, the only part of the country where hydrocarbon fields have been discovered, despite exploration work carried out in other zones by ENAP and other companies.
