ENAPENAP’s Board of Directors is in charge of the Company’s top management, having for such purpose the powers established in its organic law and in its by-laws.
The Board is entitled to delegate a part of its powers to its Chairman, a Director or a Directors Commission, the CEO or any other Company’s employee and, for given purposes, to other persons. At present, the following Directors’ Special Committees exist: Audit Committee; Projects, Business and Investments Committee; Services Retention Committee; and Committee for Oil Price Risk Coverage Policy.

The CEO is in charge of the Company’s top Management, within the framework of the functions and powers established by Law N° 9,618, the Company’s by-laws and ENAP’s Board of Directors. His task is oriented to the performance of hydrocarbons exploration and extraction activities, both in Chile and abroad, the latter through the subsidiary Enap Sipetrol S.A., all the above within a strict compliance with Quality, Environment, Risks Prevention and Social Entrepreneurial Responsibility policies. The main purpose of this area is the incorporation of hydrocarbons reserves, by means of exploration and optimization of deposits exploitation. In addition, E&P Director is responsible for the Management of the Company’s geothermal assets.
