ENAP and it subsidiaries have been systematically increasing their investments in developing their businesses in the areas of exploration and production of hydrocarbons, and associated refining and logistics, both in Chile and abroad.

The company has made accumulated investments from its own resources during the period 2000-2009 of US$ 2,300 million, oriented to three fundamental objectives: 1) exploration of new oil and natural gas fields in Chile and abroad; 2) expansion of its refining capacity, and 3) improvements to the quality of its products (fuels) and its industrial processes in order to reduce their environmental impact.
