At present, this subsidiary carries out productive activities in Argentina, Ecuador and Egypt. Also, it has the control over the concession of an oil block (Mehr) in Iran.
This ENAP subsidiary was founded in 2004, as a result of the merger of Concón and Petrox refining plants, located in the Fifth and Eighth Regions respectively. It has a distillation capacity of 220,000 barrels/day and it supplies over 80% of the fuels requirements in Chile.
Enap Refinerías also exports a part of its production to Perú, Ecuador and Central America, with an outstanding quality of its fuels, which comply with the most demanding standards in the world.
Both Lines of Business are present with their operations in the productive complex located at the Magallanes Region, where the Company exploits the only hydrocarbons ores with a commercial value discovered up to now in Chile. The Company’s main management sits at the Headquarters, in Santiago, Chile’s capital.
